The cut and color of this dress are very flattering. I'm 5'5" 140lbs. and the Medium fit perfectly. You don't have to wear a slip under it, as the skirt and bodice are fully lined and very soft. The only unlined part is the very small middle section that's about 1", but its not an indecent amount of skin or area of the body that shows. The dress is a good weight, not too light but heavy enough to feel comfortable and covered and give you some sway with your walk. The lacy material isn't itchy and feels very soft in the places where its next to your skin. I washed mine by turning it inside out and placing it in a mesh delicates bag in the washing machine (handwashing is recommend on the label, though), and all the very delicate sleeve details and small bits held up nicely. My new favorite dress!

This dress is beautiful, it fits amazing, they have a million pretty colors, I don’t care if I am sitting at home or going to the grocery store, or out to an event it just works. I love it.

(From my wife) I bought the deep pink version of this and it is quite lovely. The lace is sheer and the dress is low cut, so I bought a lace camisole to go under it. It is truly lovely. Mine is for being the mother-of-the-bride. I have not yet worn it, but I will do so with confidence. I have a musical performance coming up to which I might also wear it-- I feel good wearing this.

Ordered a size up because I'm pregnant. Thought it would be a great dress for maternity photos. It will still work, but it's bigger than I thought. Stick to your standard size, or even size down. Runs a bit large. Otherwise the color is stunning and the material is good quality. Overall, really cute.
